迦勒底的闺女阿，你要默然静坐，进入暗中，因为你不再称为列国的主母。
Sit thou silent, and get thee into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called, The lady of kingdoms.
站起来吧，用你从幼年劳神施行的符咒，和你许多的邪术，或者可得益处，或者可得强胜。
Stand now with thine enchantments, and with the multitude of thy sorceries, wherein thou hast laboured from thy youth; if so be thou shalt be able to profit, if so be thou mayest prevail.
你的后裔也必多如海沙，你腹中所生的也必多如沙粒。他的名在我面前必不剪除，也不灭绝。
Thy seed also had been as the sand, and the offspring of thy bowels like the gravel thereof; his name should not have been cut off nor destroyed from before me.
我必领他们到我的圣山，使他们在祷告我的殿中喜乐。他们的燔祭，和平安祭，在我坛上必蒙悦纳。因我的殿必称为万民祷告的殿。
Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
贼被捉拿，怎样羞愧，以色列家和他们的君王，首领，祭司，先知也都照样羞愧。
As the thief is ashamed when he is found, so is the house of Israel ashamed; they, their kings, their princes, and their priests, and their prophets,
他一发声，空中便有多水激动。他使云雾从地极上腾。他造电随雨而闪，从他府库中带出风来。
When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.
都是虚无的，是迷惑人的工作。到追讨的时候必被除灭。
They are vanity, and the work of errors: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.
因为耶和华如此说，这时候，我必将此地的居民，好像用机弦甩出去，又必加害在他们身上，使他们觉悟。
For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will sling out the inhabitants of the land at this once, and will distress them, that they may find it so.
民说，祸哉。我受损伤。我的伤痕极其重大。我却说，这真是我的痛苦，必须忍受。
Woe is me for my hurt! my wound is grievous: but I said, Truly this is a grief, and I must bear it.
我的帐棚毁坏。我的绳索折断。我的儿女离我出去，没有了。无人再支搭我的帐棚，挂起我的幔子。
My tabernacle is spoiled, and all my cords are broken: my children are gone forth of me, and they are not: there is none to stretch forth my tent any more, and to set up my curtains.
