他们离开那地方，经过加利利。耶稣不愿意人知道。
And they departed thence, and passed through Galilee; and he would not that any man should know it.
他们来到迦百农。耶稣在屋里问门徒说，你们在路上议论的是什么。
And he came to Capernaum: and being in the house he asked them, What was it that ye disputed among yourselves by the way?
耶稣说，摩西因为你们的心硬，所以写这条例给你们。
And Jesus answered and said unto them, For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept.
耶稣看着他，就爱他，对他说，你还缺少一件。去变卖你所有的，分给穷人，就必有财宝在天上。你还要来跟从我。
Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
园主还有一位，是他的爱子，末后又打发他去，意思说，他们必尊敬我的儿子。<
Having yet therefore one son, his wellbeloved, he sent him also last unto them, saying, They will reverence my son.
他们看出这比喻是指着他们说的，就想要捉拿他，只是惧怕百姓。于是离开他走了。
And they sought to lay hold on him, but feared the people: for they knew that he had spoken the parable against them: and they left him, and went their way.
其次，就是说，要爱人如己。再没有比这两条诫命更大的了。
And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
耶稣在殿里教训人，就问他们说，文士怎样说，基督是大卫的子孙呢。
And Jesus answered and said, while he taught in the temple, How say the scribes that Christ is the son of David?
这样，你们几时看见这些事成就，也该知道人子近了，（人子或作神的国）正在门口了。
So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.
他们听见就欢喜，又应许给他银子。他就寻思如何得便，把耶稣交给他们。
And when they heard it, they were glad, and promised to give him money. And he sought how he might conveniently betray him.
