彼拉多就出来，到他们那里，说，你们告这人是为什么事呢。
Pilate then went out unto them, and said, What accusation bring ye against this man?
他们就在那里钉他在十字架上，还有两个人和他一同钉着，一边一个，耶稣在中间。
Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.
看见这事的那人就作见证，他的见证也是真的，并且他知道自己所说的是真的，叫你们也可以信。
And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe.
耶稣对他说，我若要他等到我来的时候，与你何干。你跟从我吧。
Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.
那时，有许多人聚会，约有一百二十名，彼得就在弟兄中间站起来，说，
And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,)
就是从约翰施洗起，直到主离开我们被接上升的日子为止，必须从那常与我们作伴的人中，立一位与我们同作耶稣复活的见证。
Beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection.
众人就祷告说，主阿，你知道万人的心，求你从这两个人中，指明你所拣选的是谁，叫他得这使徒的位分。
And they prayed, and said, Thou, Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, shew whether of these two thou hast chosen,
五旬节到了，门徒都聚集在一处。
And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
我们各人，怎样听见他们说我们生来所用的乡谈呢。
And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?
众人就都惊讶猜疑，彼此说，这是什么意思呢。
And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?
